I added some more pics that I took at Scarby on Saturday, May 12th.  There are quite a few of the parade and the live chess match.  Here are Sir Tim and I after the vows renewal ceremony...

Sir Tim and I have ordered new garb for Scarby on May 12th.  Our "first-time" garb is more medieval, from the 12th Century, and probably more suited for Excalibur than Scarby.  So when we make our next visit to Scarby we will be wearing more 16 century period garb!  What do you think???

 

Many Thanks to Archer for fixing the Upload Photos bug!  I was finally able to post a few pics from April 14th taken at Scarby.  Two of the pics were taken with my camera, the one of us with dragonslayer came from his camera and J M Gryphon took the group picture.  Thanks guys!  My hands (and pretty much everywhere else) were soooooo cold that day I just couldn't find the motivation to take more pictures!  I pretty much had my hands stuffed inside my sleeves most of the day.  Thank God for wool!

My husband and I went to Scarby for the first time on Saturday, April 14th.  It was also our first time in garb.  We had a very good time.  It might have been a lot more fun if it had not been so cold!  I only took 2 pictures that day.  It's really hard to take pictures when your hands are crammed up your sleeves!  Maybe next time the weather will be better.

I just found Renspace.com thanks to CloverPogue on the RenaissanceFestivals.com forums!  I'm a new at being a Rennie.  My husband and I are going to Scarby this Saturday, April 14th and it will be the first time we have attended in garb!  Someone on the forums told me that once you start down the road to being a Rennie, there's no going back and I believe it.  I'm hooked!!
